HIKE LEADER & OUTDOOR EDUCATOR: Debbie Miller

Debbie has been one of the Sanctuary’s most dedicated volunteers since its earliest days. Deeply in love with the land, her enthusiasm is contagious. She has selflessly served on the Sanctuary board for over six years. Currently living on the outskirts of Cincinnati, her many pilgrimages to the Sanctuary have not been without significant self-sacrifice in time and miles. Both she and her husband, Bob (who is an avid nature photographer for the Sanctuary) have devoted many evenings to presenting breath-taking slides of the Sanctuary to groups in the Cincinnati area. Debbie can often be seen in the Sanctuary on the weekends, leading privately guided hikes for groups visiting the Sanctuary, or working on remodeling/cleaning projects at historic Beechcliff– her favorite of the Sanctuary’s four overnight facilities. Debbie holds a teaching degree, and she has a soft spot in her heart for children’s nature education, eagerly accepting school group visitations to the Sanctuary. If you wish to talk to Debbie directly, you may call her at 513-683-6514, or e-mail her at drmiller@fuse.net
