In addition to a campground (electric sites) tucked compactly in a tall and stately pine plantation, the park offers twelve basic cottages and twelve preferred cottages.  Basic cottages allow up to four people and include full kitchen with a refrigerator, cookware and dinnerware, all linens provided, color TV, and are heated and air conditioned.  Preferred cottages allow up to six people.  They include all the amenities of the basic cottages plus a gas fireplace and a screened porch.  Weekends require a two night minimum stay.  Directions: Take US St. Rt. 50 to Potts Hill RD (near Bainbridge), Go south on Potts Hill to Pike Lake Rd. Turn right on Pike Lake RD. Follow this to the park. Approximately fourteen to fifteen miles to Cave Canyon Preserve, Highlands Nature Sanctuary.

Located 1.8 miles from Pike Lake State Park. Back woods lodging with modern comforts adjoining Pike Sate Forest. Greenbriar Ranch is a home converted into a rental cabin. It has a southwest decor with full kitchen, 2 full baths, master king bed suite, 1 queen bedroom, and 1 full bedroom. Living and dining area fully furnished. Bed, bath, kitchen accessories, and cookware provided. Sleeps 6 comfortably; maximum is 8. An outdoor gas grill is provided as well as popcorn, shampoo, and soap. 2008 prices: 2 night minimum, $125.00/night for six people, additional adults $10/night.
