The Arc of Appalachia Preserve System is now offering an easily downloaded, printable gift or memorial acknowledgements that can be customized for any occasion - even at the last minute. You may choose among several card themes, each one highlighting the stunning beauty of the Arc of Appalachia Preserve System. After you print your cards you can give them immediately to your friends and family. Then, at your leisure, you can send us a check in the mail for make your donation on-line at JustGive.

Step One

Choose your photo theme for the outside of the card--the thumbnails represent just the theme. The finished cards contain a collage of beautiful photos. If you can print this side in color, that would be great! But it will also work in black and white. Left click on the picture. The file will open in the form of a word document -- which your computer may ask your permission before opening. Once it opens, simply click file, and print. You may also save the file to your computer first, and then print it, if you would like.

Step Two

Your card is now printed on one side. Flip the paper over and reinsert it into the paper tray of your printer per your printer's instructions for two-sided copying. Now choose the inside of your card to fit your occasion, and print as you did in step one. Since it is a word document, you can amend the text in any way you wish, or handwrite a note after you print it off.

Step Three

Add any handwritten notes and fold your card in thirds. If you choose, you can insert it into a legal sized envelope. You now have the perfect gift for your occasion!

Run off a donation form and send the Arc your gift amount by mail or do it on-line at JustGive. You will receive our thanks and a receipt for your contribution to this tax-deductible cause.

More Ideas

Use an elegant font in your word processing program to fill out the name of the recipient of your gift. Change the message to something more personal, or add your own message in the blank spaces.

Fold your card and place into a recycled business envelope for delivery or fold up a page from a colored nature magazine and make your own envelope! Be creative!
